The brushless motor and high capacity XR 18V 5.0Ah Lithium-ion battery platform of Dewalt sds hammer drill provides extremely run time and reduced maintenance. The chuck and gearbox move backward and forwards together absorbing the impact which would normally end up transferred to the user. And hammer mechanism for increased operator comfort, as well as a variable speed trigger. Built-in L.E.D. lights, and a one-touch sliding chuck for easy bit changes. It works just as well as any corded drill but with the convenience of no cords.
