A hot tub is a large tub filled with water that is used for hydrotherapy, relaxation, or enjoyment. Some have powerful jets for massage. Hot tubs are also referred to as spas or by the trade name Jacuzzi. A hot tub, unlike a regular bathtub, is intended to be used by more than one person at a time, with many models accommodating four or more people. Hot tubs are typically installed outdoors, but they can also be installed indoors. Furthermore, the water in a hot tub is not changed after each use but is kept sanitary using methods similar to those used in swimming pool sanitation.
